BTY strengthens its senior technical and lender-advisory bench
BTY Group, a leading North American renewable energy and infrastructure advisory firm, today announced the appointment of Marc LeBlanc, P.Eng., as Director, Technical Delivery and Operations, adding another significant senior industry leader to the technical and lender-advisory bench behind BTY's growing renewables practice.
LeBlanc brings more than 20 years of experience in technical due diligence, independent engineering, and lender advisory for wind, solar, and energy storage projects across North America and internationally. He specializes in lender-side due diligence and M&A technical advisory, having led technical assessments on renewable energy projects and portfolios on behalf of institutional investors, commercial banks, developers, and asset owners throughout project financing, M&A transactions, and asset optimization initiatives, translating technical and commercial risk into clear advice that informs valuation, deal structuring, investment decisions, and asset optimization.
A track record built across the global renewables market
Prior to joining BTY, LeBlanc held senior product management and due diligence leadership roles at DNV, supporting the digital transformation of its advisory services. He also founded and led Garrad Hassan's Canadian operations, later establishing new business lines, including Asset Management & Operational Services at GL Garrad Hassan, and M&A Advisory services at DNV GL. He served two consecutive terms (2005–2011) on the Board of Directors of the Canadian Wind Energy Association (CanWEA).

Marc joins a team advising owners, lenders and investors across wind, solar and storage assets, and will lead technical delivery and operations for the practice.
